Below is information about the "Add Me! - New or Old, We Want Friends!" asylum on InsaneJournal. To join this asylum, click here. You may leave the asylum at any time.
Welcome to addme, one of the original InsaneJournal asylums for making friends. The concept of this asylum is simple - you either join it to post to make new friends (whether you have been on InsaneJournal for years or just recently joined us) or you watch it always looking for new people to add to your friend's list. You can learn about adding friends and how many you can have by visiting the InsaneJournal FAQ section about friends. This asylum is fairly relaxed, but we do have a few rules I'd like you to keep in mind...
rules!
a) Do not spam the asylum! There's no need to make a new post for friends twice a week.
b) Be nice! If you have problems with another user who posts here, do not start a fight with them. If you don't like someone's interest, ignore it.
c) Don't flame/troll! If you're being rude or offensive, you'll get banned and removed from this asylum. There's no need to be that way here.
d) Don't post inappropriate material! Since people of all ages and backgrounds watch this asylum, I ask you keep everything rated PG-13 INCLUDING YOUR USER ICON!
e) Do not post... asylum ads, promotions for roleplaying games, ads for other websites, icon journals, or anything else considered off topic. This is just for users to look for friends and nothing else. Posts that are considered off topic will be deleted. Multiple counts will result in a ban. Use the promoting asylums to promote, not here.
f) If posting images, please be mindful of other people. If the image is larger than 300x300 or you're using multiple images, please use a LJ-Cut. Thanks!
etcetera!

sample posts!
Have no idea what you want to write as an introduction? Use one of these sample posts (code included and all) and post with them :D! Just copy and paste all the stuff in there, replacing it with your own information. These aren't necessary, but are used in case you are unable to come up with your own introduction.
